A Mostly Fortunate Life, published in March 2010, was written by
Owen Lloyd, a retired journalist and senior media advisor to former Prime Minister Malcom Fraser.
The book covers Owen's life and career experiences in a selection of interesting and entertaining vignettes.
Michèle was asked to illustrate six of Owen's more humourous anecdotes, the chapter titles of which are as follows:
- Goats Eat the News
- Biggles to the Rescue
- Bob
- Granny Takes a Bath
- The Uluru Run
- Tales from Seat 13
To keep with the book's style Michèle's hand-drawn illustrations are in black and white, primarily using different shades of black and grey pencil and watercolour.
